Vancouver- YVR will be getting a new parkade and central utilities building.

This is going to be one of the largest go exchange systems in Canada
and will help YVR meet growing passenger demand, while reducing its
environmental footprint by supporting YVR’s heating and cooling needs
across the entire terminal.

The TransLink bus stop was relocated on Jan. 7th. To access
Domestic/Canada check in for departures proceed to level 3.

Airport staff are excited to welcome the new additions that should be
completed within the next six months. They say it’s going to help
reduce the amount of traffic and hopefully people will take local
transit.

The businesses surrounding YVR will see an increase of foot traffic,
as more patrons will stay nearby and shop while waiting for their
flight. McArthurGlen designer outlet mall businesses are expected to
thrive in the long run from the nearby airport construction.

We will keep you updated as construction updates are made available
to the media.
