WE ARE OLD DOMINION TOUR ELECTRICFIES OKANAGANITES

The cold didn’t stop a trio of artists from singing this past Saturday night inside the South Okanagan Events Centre.

The opening act, Meghan Patrick, is a Canadian country singer-songwriter from Bowmanville, Ontario, who started the show. She sang “Country Music Made Me Do It”, and “The Bad Guy.”

Next on stage was Mitchell Tenpenny, an American country music singer and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. It was his first time touring across Western Canada. He seemed happy to be a part of the tour, especially enjoying the scenic views. But he is not used to the winter conditions in Canada.

Country Music band Old Dominion came onto the stage with a bit of “Snapback” attitude. Matt Ramsey, the lead singer, wasn’t feeling well but did give the crowd a good performance. These guys were extremely professional and have matured since the last time they played in Penticton back in 2018.

“We wanted to thank our fans for making this moment possible. Thank you for coming out to an Old Dominion concert, God bless you Canada, have a safe drive home,” said Matt Ramsey.
