Every morning around lunch-time, since the beginning of April,

pianist, American singer Neil Sedaka has performed live on Facebook.

Sedaka does roughly three to four songs and usually ends with an upbeat tune.

He likes to tell the audience that listens in: “Stay Safe we will get

through this together during these trying times.”

His bird Basile, has been the highlight of most of the mini-concerts.

He sits on his cage or wanders around on top.

Songs you might hear are: “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do,” “Oh Carol,”

“Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen,” “Laughter in the Rain,” “You Gotta

Make Your Own Sunshine” and “One More Mountain To Climb.”

Sedaka did a lot of composing in his career and is widely known as a

record producer.

He has sold millions of records as an artist and has written or

co-written over 500 songs for himself and others, collaborating mostly

with lyricists Howard Greenfield and Phil Cody.

So the next time you’re playing on the computer, looking for some

happiness, check out  Sedaka’s Facebook page and listen to his

seven-minute mini-concerts.
